September 11, 2025: Somerset, KY 42564 Somerset Christian Cougars (Somerset, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Somerset Christian improves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Jackson County (McKee, KY) to face the Generals in a non-league test on Monday, September 15. The Generals go into the test with a record of 5-5. Jackson County won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Harlan (Harlan, KY)
The Cardinals now own a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Laurel for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 16. South Laurel will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-8.
