In Saturday's non-league game, the Fort Bend Travis Tigers (Richmond, TX) football team got by the host Cypress Falls Eagles (Houston, TX), by a score of 20-13.

The Tigers (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region III District 20 game with a 0-3 record.

The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress Woods for a 6A Region II District 16 game on Friday, September 17. Cypress Falls will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 28-11 non-league loss to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
