The Santana Sultans held off the visiting Coronado Islanders volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Sultans now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clairemont for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 13. Santana will confront a Chieftains team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Santana (Santee, CA). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-2.

The Islanders (1-2) will now prepare for their test against Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Patriots enter the test with a 11-2 record.
