September 12, 2022: Indian Trail, NC 28079 The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) and the host Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), saw Mount Pleasant's volleyball squad beat Porter Ridge by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 6-4 on the year. The Tigers host North Stanly (New London, NC) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 13. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 3-6. North Stanly won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against South Davidson (Denton, NC)
The Pirates now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Piedmont for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 13.
