North Carolina High School Volleyball - Fairmont routed by Scotland
September 12, 2022: Laurinburg, NC 28352 The Scotland Fighting Scots volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Fairmont Golden Tornadoes to 0 in the Fighting Scots non-league victory on Monday.
The Fighting Scots now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pinecrest for a Sandhills 3A/4A game on Tuesday, September 13. Scotland will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-2.
The Golden Tornadoes (0-10) will now prepare for their game against West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Knights enter the Southeastern Athletic 2A game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, West Bladen gained a win over West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC), 3-0, in a non-league game.
