With the win, Geneva County upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Abbeville (Abbeville, AL) to face the Yellowjackets in a 2A Area 2 outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Yellowjackets go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Abbeville lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Emmanuel Christian (Dothan, AL)
The Red Tops now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Samson for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 13. Slocomb will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wicksburg (Newton, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
