The Research Triangle Raptors (Research Triangle Park, NC) volleyball overcame the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), 3-0 in Monday's non-league outing.

With the win, Research Triangle upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Raptors travel to NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC) to play the Unicorns in a Super Six 1A/2A outing on Tuesday, September 13. The Unicorns go into the outing with a record of 4-3. NCSSM: Durham lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC)

The Jaguars now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Triangle Math & Science for a Central Tar Heel 1A outing on Tuesday, September 13. River Mill will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 1-7.
