September 12, 2023: Afton, TN 37616 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN) and the visiting Cosby Eagles (Cosby, TN), saw Chuckey-Doak's soccer squad triumph over Cosby by a margin of 9-0.
The Black Knights now sport a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Morristown-Hamblen East for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Chuckey-Doak will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN). The Hurricanes record now stands at 4-2.
With the loss, Cosby drops to 1-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Cocke County (Newport, TN) to meet the Fighting Cocks in a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. The Fighting Cocks come into the test with a record of 4-4. Cocke County lost 3-2 in their recent league test against Northview Academy (Kodak, TN)
