September 12, 2023: Tampa, FL 33618 The Gaither Cowboys volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Plant City Raiders to 0 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Cowboys now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bloomingdale for a game on Wednesday, September 13. Gaither will meet a Bulls team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Strawberry Crest (Dover, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 6-1.
The Raiders (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Durant (Plant City, FL). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Durant defeated Tampa Bay Tech (Tampa, FL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
