Avon Orioles (Avon, IN) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Franklin Central Flashes (Indianapolis, IN), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Orioles confront the Zionsville Eagles (Zionsville, IN) in a Hoosier Crossroads challenge, on Saturday, September 16. Avon will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 1-0 league loss to Noblesville (Noblesville, IN).
