North Carolina High School Soccer - First Flight knocks off Norfolk Academy
September 12, 2023: Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 The First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) soccer bounced the visiting Norfolk Academy Bulldogs (Norfolk, VA), 4-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the win, First Flight moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Manteo (Manteo, NC) to battle the Redskins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A bout on Wednesday, September 13. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Manteo won 5-1 in their recent league bout against Holmes (Edenton, NC)
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Christchurch School Seahorses (Christchurch, VA) in a VISAA - Independent bout, on Thursday, September 14. Norfolk Academy will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Seahorses go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 1-1 non-league Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).
