Connecticut High School Soccer - Warde nudges St. Joseph
September 12, 2023: Trumbull, CT 06611 Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host St. Joseph Cadets (Trumbull, CT), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs confront the Trumbull Eagles (Trumbull, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Warde will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 1-1 league Danbury (Danbury, CT).
The Cadets now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenwich for a Fairfield County challenge on Thursday, September 14. St. Joseph will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 6-2 league win over Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-0.
