The Sabers now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Caldwell Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, September 14. Salem Academy will confront a team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The record now stands at 6-4.
The Turtles (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA). The Knights enter the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Christian Heritage Academy gained a win over Faith Christian Academy (Hurt, VA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
