September 12, 2023: Hillsboro, TX 76645 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX) volleyball squad knocked off the host Hillsboro Eagles (Hillsboro, TX), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Tigers battle the Forney Jackrabbits (Forney, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, September 15. Corsicana will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Jackrabbits come into the contest with a 22-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Ennis (Ennis, TX).
With the loss, Hillsboro drops to 12-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 4A Region II District 10 contest on Friday, September 15. The Mustangs come into the contest with a record of 8-8. Life Waxahachie won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Alvarado (Alvarado, TX)
