September 12, 2023: Yakima, WA 98902 In Tuesday's league battle, the host Davis Pirates volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sunnyside Grizzlies.
The Pirates (2-3) will now prepare for their battle against West Valley (Yakima, WA). The Rams come into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, West Valley achieved victory over Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Grizzlies clash with the Wenatchee Panthers (Wenatchee, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle, on Thursday, September 14. Sunnyside will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA).
