New York High School Football - Cortland triumphant over Port Byron
September 12, 2024: Port Byron, NY 13140 The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY) and the host Port Byron Panthers (Port Byron, NY), witnessed Cortland's football squad wallop Port Byron by a tally of 54-14.
The Purple Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jamesville-DeWitt (DeWitt, NY). The Red Rams enter the Section 3 B - 2 contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Jamesville-DeWitt was trounced by South Jefferson (Adams, NY), 47-14, in a league contest.
