Maine High School Football - Hampden tops John Bapst Memorial
September 12, 2024: Bangor, ME 04401 The Hampden Broncos football squad scored 24 points and limited the host John Bapst Memorial Crusaders to 14 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Broncos now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hermon for a C North test on Friday, September 20. Hampden will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 35-34 non-league loss to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME). The Hawks record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, John Bapst Memorial drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to meet the Huskies in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 1-1. Maine Central Institute won 21-12 in their recent league test against Old Town (Old Town, ME)
