The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) and the host South Platte Blue Knights (Big Springs, NE), witnessed Wallace's football squad topple South Platte by a tally of 41-14.

The Wildcats (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest (Bartley, NE). The Roughriders enter the D6 District 4 (6 Man) contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Southwest was outscored by Arthur County (Arthur, NE), 40-28, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Blue Knights clash with the Garden County Eagles (Oshkosh, NE) in a D6 District 5 (6 Man) outing, on Thursday, September 26. South Platte will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 3-0 record after their 49-12 non-league win over Medicine Valley (Curtis, NE).
