Illinois High School Flag Football - Bloom holds off Joliet Central
September 12, 2024: Chicago Heights, IL 60411 The Bloom Blazing Trojan flag football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen to 16 in the Blazing Trojan non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Blazing Trojan now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mother McAuley for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Bloom will clash with a Mighty Macs squad coming off a 34-16 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Mighty Macs record now stands at 2-7.
With the defeat, Joliet Central drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Steelmen host Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-4. Romeoville lost 31-13 in their recent non-league test against Belleville East (Belleville, IL)
