Minnesota High School Soccer - Alexandria knocks off Apollo
September 12, 2024: Alexandria, MN 56308 Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN) and the visiting Apollo Eagles (St. Cloud, MN), saw Alexandria's soccer squad triumph over Apollo by a count of 10-0.
The Cardinals (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN). The Tigers enter the Class A Section 8 battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, St. Cloud Tech notched a victory over Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN), 7-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Fergus Falls Otters (Fergus Falls, MN) in a Class A Section 8 battle, on Tuesday, September 17. Apollo will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Otters enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Willmar (Willmar, MN).
