September 12, 2024: Medford, OR 97504 St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Illinois Valley Cougars (Cave Junction, OR), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, St. Mary's moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Lakeview (Lakeview, OR) to meet the Honkers in a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 test on Tuesday, September 17. The Honkers come into the test with a record of 1-2.
The Cougars now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host South Umpqua for a 3A/2A/1A-SD4 Special District 4 test on Tuesday, September 17. Illinois Valley will meet a Lancers team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Douglas (Winston, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 0-1.
