Maine High School Soccer - Nokomis toppled by Medomak Valley
September 12, 2024: Newport, ME 04953 Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Medomak Valley moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Gardiner (Gardiner, ME) to clash with the Tigers in a Class B - North test on Tuesday, September 17. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Gardiner 2-2 in their recent league test against Winslow (Winslow, ME)
The Warriors now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount View for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Nokomis will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 5-0 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-1.
