September 12, 2024: Albany, CA 94706 The Northgate Broncos football squad scored 20 points and limited the host Albany Cougars to 15 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Broncos now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Clayton Valley Charter for a non-league test on Friday, September 20. Northgate will meet a Ugly Eagles squad coming off a 56-0 non-league loss to San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA). The Ugly Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Albany drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA) to meet the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 0-0.
