September 12, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24015 The Patrick Henry Patriots football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Albemarle Patriots to 8 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Patriots now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Fleming for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Patrick Henry will meet a Colonels squad coming off a 20-14 non-league win over Salem (Salem, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Albemarle drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Patriots host Heritage (Lynchburg, VA) to meet the Pioneers in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 18. The Pioneers come into the test with a record of 1-0. Heritage won 38-0 in their recent non-league test against Appomattox County (Appomattox, VA)
