September 12, 2024: Cartersville, GA 30120 Cartersville Hurricanes (Cartersville, GA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA), 31-10 in a league battle.
With the win, Cartersville improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Hurricanes host Allatoona (Acworth, GA) to play the Buccaneers in a battle on Thursday, September 19. The Buccaneers go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Allatoona lost 19-8 in their recent non-league battle against East Paulding (Dallas, GA)
The Hornets now have a 1-1 record. They play next when they host East Paulding for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 10. Hiram will play a Raiders team coming off a 38-13 league loss to Rome (Rome, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-2.
