California High School Football - Lakewood loses to Centennial
September 12, 2024: Lakewood, CA 90713 Centennial Huskies (Corona, CA) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Lakewood Lancers (Lakewood, CA), 38-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Centennial advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Huskies host St. John Bosco (Bellflower, CA) to play the Braves in a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. The Braves go into the battle with a record of 0-1. St. John Bosco lost 33-7 in their recent non-league battle against Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA)
The Lancers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mary Star of the Sea for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 19. Lakewood will play a Stars team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over South Gate (South Gate, CA). The Stars record now stands at 2-1.
