September 12, 2024: Charlotte, NC 28226 The Charlotte Catholic Cougars football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Crest Chargers to 6 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Charlotte Catholic will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 26-19 non-league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Crest drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC) to meet the Greenwave in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Greenwave come into the test with a record of 2-0. Ashbrook won 22-0 in their recent non-league test against East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC)
