September 12, 2024: Rocky Mount, NC 27856 The Nash Central Bulldogs felled the visiting Vance County Vipers football team by a score of 19-6 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Southern Nash Firebirds (Bailey, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 19. Nash Central will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Firebirds go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 28-24 non-league win over Southern Alamance (Graham, NC).
The Vipers (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability (Durham, NC). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was topped by Wake Forest (Wake Forest, NC), 35-6, in a non-league battle.
