September 12, 2024: Olympia Fields, IL 60471 Thornwood Thunderbirds (South Holland, IL) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Rich Township Raptors (Olympia Fields, IL), 37-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Thornwood advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds travel to Thornridge (Dolton, IL) to play the Falcons in a battle on Thursday, October 24. The Falcons go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Raptors now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Thornton for a battle on Thursday, September 19. Rich Township will play a Wildcats team coming off a 36-24 non-league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
