The Panthers now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hemphill for a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. Westwood will meet a Hornets squad coming off a 39-26 non-league loss to Waskom (Waskom, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Timpson drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Bears host Rusk (Rusk, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, September 19. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-0.
