Illinois High School Soccer - Belleville East toppled by Columbia
September 12, 2024: Belleville, IL 62221 Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Belleville East Lancers (Belleville, IL), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Columbia advances its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league test on Monday, September 16. The Crusaders come into the test with a record of 0-1. Althoff Catholic lost 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Triad (Troy, IL)
The Lancers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Belleville West for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Belleville East will clash with a Maroons team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Alton (Alton, IL). The Maroons record now stands at 2-0.
