Michigan High School Soccer - Hopkins toppled by Calvin Christian
September 12, 2024: Grandville, MI 49418 Calvin Christian Squires (Grandville, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Hopkins Vikings (Hopkins, MI), 8-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Calvin Christian advances its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Squires host North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI) to clash with the Norsemen in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Norsemen come into the test with a record of 6-3. North Muskegon won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Fremont (Fremont, MI)
The Vikings now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host NorthPointe Christian for a Ottawa-Kent - Silver test on Tuesday, September 17. Hopkins will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Godwin Heights (Wyoming, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-4.
