September 12, 2024: Minnetonka, MN 55345 Minnetonka Skippers (Minnetonka, MN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Eden Prairie Eagles (Eden Prairie, MN), 3-0 in a league test.
With the triumph, Minnetonka advances its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Skippers host Chaska (Chaska, MN) to clash with the Hawks in a Class AA Section 2 test on Saturday, September 14. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-2. Chaska won 3-0 in their recent league test against Jefferson (Bloomington, MN)
The Eagles now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holy Family Catholic for a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. Eden Prairie will clash with a Fire team coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Fire record now stands at 2-4.
