September 12, 2024: Washington, DC 20001 In Thursday's non-league contest, the Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) soccer team routed the visiting St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM), by a count of 4-0.
Next, the Eagles battle the Bishop O'Connell Knights (Arlington, VA) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) contest, on Tuesday, September 17. Gonzaga will attempt to upgrade on its 4-0 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 9-0 league win over King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA).
The Sartans (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Albans (Washington, DC). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, St. Albans held off Maret (Washington, DC), 5-0, in a non-league contest.
