Colorado High School Football - Widefield crushed by Air Academy

September 12, 2025: US Air Force Academy, CO 80840

The Air Academy Kadets overwhelmed the visiting Widefield Gladiators football squad by a count of 42-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Kadets now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Standley Lake for a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. Air Academy will meet a Gators squad coming off a 51-10 non-league loss to Bear Creek (Lakewood, CO). The Gators record now stands at 1-2.

With the defeat, Widefield drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Sand Creek (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Scorpions in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Scorpions come into the test with a record of 3-0. Sand Creek won 32-14 in their recent non-league test against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO)
