Pennsylvania High School Football - Ambridge can't hold off Mt. Pleasant
September 12, 2025: Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666 Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), 28-27 in a non-league match.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Laurel Highlands (Uniontown, PA). The Mustangs go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Laurel Highlands was tipped by Indiana (Indiana, PA), 48-7, in a non-league battle.
The Bridgers now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Greensburg Salem for a non-league match on Friday, September 19. Ambridge will confront a Golden Lions squad coming off a 33-13 non-league loss to Ringgold (Monongahela, PA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 2-2.
