The Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) football knocked off the host Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY), 28-7 in Friday's league outing.

The Red Raiders now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host University Prep for a Section 5 AA game on Friday, September 19. Fairport will battle a Griffins team coming off a 39-20 league win over Pittsford (Pittsford, NY). The Griffins record now stands at 1-1.

The Little Irish (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Rush-Henrietta (Henrietta, NY). The Royal Comets enter the Section 5 AA game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Rush-Henrietta notched a victory over McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, NY), 29-0, in a league bout.
