In Friday's non-league match, the host Archbishop Rummel Raiders football squad scored a nice 30-17 win over the University Lab Cubs.

With the win, Archbishop Rummel advances its record to 1-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Archbishop Shaw (Marrero, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, September 19. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Archbishop Shaw won 46-0 in their recent non-league battle against West Jefferson (Harvey, LA)
