The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the visiting Florence Falcons (Florence, AL), witnessed Austin's football squad topple Florence by a count of 34-6.

The Black Bears (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Albertville (Albertville, AL). The Aggies go into the 7A Region 4 battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Albertville was topped by Sparkman (Harvest, AL), 45-27, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Falcons confront the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) in a 7A Region 4 match, on Friday, September 19. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Patriots enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 42-0 league win over Grissom (Huntsville, AL).
