The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE) and the visiting Axtell Wildcats (Axtell, NE), witnessed Cambridge's football squad wallop Axtell by a tally of 68-0.

The Trojans (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bertrand (Bertrand, NE). The Vikings enter the D2 District 8 (8 Man) bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Bertrand smashed Brady (Brady, NE), 78-24, in a non-league bout.

The Wildcats now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Wilcox-Hildreth for a D2 District 5 (8 Man) bout on Friday, September 19. Axtell will confront a Falcons squad coming off a 74-20 non-league loss to Lawrence-Nelson (Nelson, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 1-2.
