Georgia High School Football - Baconton Charter crushed by Mt. Zion

September 12, 2025: Mt. Zion, GA 30117

The Mt. Zion Eagles walloped the visiting Baconton Charter Blazers football team by a count of 47-0 in Friday's non-league test.

The Eagles now hold a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pike County for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Mt. Zion will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 43-10 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Baconton Charter drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL) to meet the Warriors in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 2-1. Aucilla Christian won 35-26 in their recent league test against Rocky Bayou Christian (Niceville, FL)
