Pennsylvania High School Football - Beaver nudges Hopewell

September 12, 2025: Aliquippa, PA 15001

In Friday's league match, the visiting Beaver Bobcats football squad scored a close 51-50 victory over the Hopewell Vikings.

The Bobcats (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Central Valley (Monaca, PA). The Warriors enter the WPIAL AAA Western Hills match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Central Valley got by McGuffey (Claysville, PA), 49-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Vikings confront the Avonworth Antelopes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL AAA Western Hills match, on Friday, September 19. Hopewell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Antelopes enter the match with a 4-0 record after their 41-14 non-league win over Thomas Jefferson (Jefferson Hills, PA).
