St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI), 56-20 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Francis improves its record to 3-0 on the season. The Gladiators host Grayling (Grayling, MI) to play the Vikings in a Northern Michigan - Legends battle on Saturday, September 20. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 1-2. Grayling lost 48-21 in their recent league battle against Kingsley (Kingsley, MI)

The Huskies now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Tawas Area for a Northern Michigan - Leaders battle on Friday, September 19. Benzie Central will play a Braves squad coming off a 54-7 league loss to Charlevoix (Charlevoix, MI). The Braves record now stands at 1-2.
