In Friday's non-league game, the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) football team overcame the host Bishop Brossart Mustangs (Alexandria, KY), by a tally of 41-13.

In their next game, the Polar Bears battle the Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Bracken County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 41-16 non-league win over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY).

The Mustangs (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY). The Bluejackets enter the non-league game with a 4-0 record. In their last game, Nicholas County notched a victory over Berea (Berea, KY), 1-0, in a non-league game.
