Michigan High School Football - Cheboygan thwarted by Boyne City
September 12, 2025: Cheboygan, MI 49721 Boyne City Ramblers (Boyne City, MI) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Cheboygan Chiefs (Cheboygan, MI), 30-14 in a league battle.
With the triumph, Boyne City upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Ramblers host Kingsley (Kingsley, MI) to meet the Stags in a Northern Michigan - Legends test on Friday, September 19. The Stags come into the test with a record of 2-1. Kingsley won 48-21 in their recent league test against Grayling (Grayling, MI)
With the defeat, Cheboygan drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Chiefs travel to Elk Rapids (Elk Rapids, MI) to meet the Elks in a non-league test on Friday, September 19. The Elks go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Elk Rapids won 8-6 in their recent league challenge against Oscoda (Oscoda, MI)
