The Boys Town Cowboys football team (Boys Town, NE), was crushed 43-8 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Fort Calhoun Pioneers (Fort Calhoun, NE)

With the win, Fort Calhoun advances its record to 3-0 on the year. The Pioneers host Pierce (Pierce, NE) to battle the Bluejays in a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. The Bluejays enter the contest with a record of 3-0. Pierce won 42-6 in their recent non-league contest against Douglas County West (Valley, NE)

Coming up next, the Cowboys battle the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 18. Boys Town will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 18-16 non-league win over Doniphan-Trumbull (Doniphan, NE).
