New Mexico High School Football - Hozho Academy tops Capitan
September 12, 2025: Capitan, NM 88316 The Hozho Academy Wolves football team scored 26 points and restricted the host Capitan Tigers to 0 in the Wolves non-league win on Friday.
In their next game, the Wolves face the Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes (Pojoaque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 19. Hozho Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Elks/Elkettes go into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 58-20 non-league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).
The Tigers (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Tularosa was defeated by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 36-6, in a non-league test.
