The Cougars now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lisbon for a 1A District 5 outing on Friday, September 19. Cascade will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 20-14 non-league loss to Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Lions record now stands at 1-2.
With the defeat, Monticello drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to West Branch (West Branch, IA) to clash with the Bears in a 2A Group 5 outing on Friday, September 19.
