The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans football squad scored 50 points and limited the host Flinthills Mustangs to 36 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Argonia/Attica for a non-league test on Friday, September 19. Cedar Vale/Dexter will face a Titans team coming off a 22-20 non-league loss to Central (Burden, KS). The Titans record now stands at 1-1.

The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sedan (Sedan, KS). The Devils enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Sedan ran past Udall (Udall, KS), 52-6, in a league challenge.
