Iowa High School Football - Central Springs thwarted by Nashua-Plainfield
September 12, 2025: Nashua, IA 50658 Nashua-Plainfield Huskies (Nashua, IA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Central Springs Panthers (Manly, IA), 35-6 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Nashua-Plainfield improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Huskies travel to North Butler (Greene, IA) to face the Bearcats in a A District 3 challenge on Friday, September 19. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. North Butler won 21-0 in their recent league test against Starmont (Arlington, IA)
With the defeat, Central Springs drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS (Clarion, IA) to clash with the in a 1A District 3 test on Friday, September 19. The come into the test with a record of 2-1. Clarion-Goldfield/DOWS won 26-14 in their recent non-league test against Estherville Lincoln Central (Estherville, IA)
